Location: Italy, field-based, covering Trentino and Veneto, ideally based in Verona

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Territory Manager to join a growing surgical sales team, taking ownership of the Trentino and Veneto region.

This position combines both account management and business development responsibilities, with a focus on developing long-term customer relationships, driving product adoption and identifying new commercial opportunities across the territory.

The successful candidate will work closely with surgeons, theatre teams, procurement departments and hospital stakeholders to support the continued growth of a well-established surgical portfolio while identifying opportunities for future expansion.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Managing sales performance across the assigned territory and delivering against agreed revenue targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clinicians, procurement teams and hospital decision-makers
  • Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts
  • Conducting customer evaluations and needs assessments to deliver tailored solutions
  • Supporting product presentations, demonstrations and clinical evaluations
  • Managing and coordinating local tender activities and contract opportunities
  • Working closely with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams to maximise business opportunities
  • Monitoring market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity across the territory
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and providing regular sales forecasts and market intelligence
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution and ongoing account support
  • Collaborating with regional leadership to implement strategic sales initiatives and territory development plans

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluent Italian and English language and written skills
  • Situated within the territory region
  • Significant experience in medical device, surgical technology or biomedical equipment sales
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets within the healthcare sector
  • Experience working with hospitals, operating theatres and clinical stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing public tenders and procurement processes would be advantageous
  • Excellent planning, organisational and territory management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider sales team
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Full driving licence
  • Fluent Italian with good English language skills

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree educated in Business, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences or a related discipline preferred
  • Equivalent commercial experience within the medical device industry will also be considered
