We are recruiting for a leading Australian clinical research organisation for a newly created Medical Team Lead position within its growing Early Phase Unit (EPU).

This is an exiiting opportunity to work at the forefront of early-phase clinical science while enjoying a structured working environment and a sustainable alternative to the intensity of traditional hospital medicine.

Why Consider This Role?

  • Work at the cutting edge of early-phase clinical research, across a broad range of therapeutic areas
  • Join an internationally focused organisation working with pharmaceutical, biotech and academic sponsors
  • Enjoy a structured Monday–Friday working pattern, with minimal on-call and no ED-style emergency work
  • Lead a collaborative, non-hierarchical and highly experienced medical team
  • Take on a genuine leadership role within a growing Early Phase Unit
  • Be part of an organisation experiencing significant growth and expansion
  • Benefit from salary packaging available through the not-for-profit structure
  • Relocation support is available for the right candidate

What matters most is your clinical credibility, experience in clinical trials and ability to lead and develop people.

Essential Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience as a Principal Investigator and/or Sub-Investigator in clinical trials
  • Working knowledge of ICH-GCP and applicable clinical trial regulations
