OrbEye Specialist and Territory Manager ENT (Denmark)

Location: Denmark, field based covering the North Denmark Region, Central Denmark Region and Region of Southern Denmark

Employment type: Permanent, full time

Job Reference: 146

About the company

Our client is a leading global medical technology company with a long established reputation for innovation in surgical visualisation and minimally invasive healthcare. They are looking for a specialist to lead their advanced surgical exoscope business across Denmark, combined with responsibility for ENT sales in Eastern Denmark.

The opportunity

This is a dual role. As Exoscope Specialist, you will be the national expert on a surgical exoscope: a digital alternative to the traditional operating microscope, used in neurosurgery, spine, ENT and other microsurgical disciplines. You will cover all of Denmark, with an initial focus on the larger university and regional hospitals:

  • Capital Region and Region Zealand: Rigshospitalet, Herlev, Bispebjerg, Nordsjællands Hospital, Zealand University Hospital (Køge), Roskilde, Slagelse and Holbæk

  • Central Denmark Region: Aarhus University Hospital and the regional hospitals in Gødstrup, Viborg and Silkeborg

  • North Denmark Region: Aalborg University Hospital and Regional Hospital North Jutland (Hjørring)

  • Region of Southern Denmark: Odense University Hospital, Vejle, Kolding and Esbjerg

As Territory Manager ENT, you will own the ENT portfolio, including rigid and flexible ENT endoscopy, visualisation systems and ENT surgical instruments, across the Capital Region and Region Zealand. Key accounts include Rigshospitalet, Herlev, Bispebjerg, Nordsjællands Hospital (Hillerød), Zealand University Hospital (Køge and Roskilde), Slagelse, Nykøbing Falster and Holbæk, together with a number of private ENT practices.

It is an ideal role for someone who combines strong technical credibility in theatre with the commercial drive to close capital deals and grow an established ENT business.

What you will be doing

  • Driving sales of the exoscope system across Denmark, from first conversation to signed capital project
  • Leading product demonstrations, evaluations and case support in theatre with neurosurgery, spine, ENT and other surgical teams
  • Prioritising the larger university and regional hospitals while building a national exoscope pipeline
  • Owning ENT sales across the Capital Region and Region Zealand and delivering against revenue and margin targets
  • Supporting ENT teams in theatre and outpatient clinics, including product training for new users
  • Developing relationships with private ENT practices across the territory
  • Building business cases and account plans for university and regional hospitals
  • Working with internal specialist teams on proposals, regional public tenders and contract negotiations
  • Sharing market and competitor insight with marketing and product management
  • Keeping accurate CRM records and forecasting reliably

What we are looking for

  • Fluent Danish and English
  • Based in Denmark, with the flexibility to travel nationally; living within reach of the Capital Region or Region Zealand is an advantage
  • Degree level education, ideally in a technical, scientific or clinical field
  • At least 3 years of successful sales or clinical specialist experience in medical devices, ideally surgical microscopes, visualisation, ENT or capital equipment
  • Confidence working in theatre and supporting surgeons during live cases
  • A track record of closing capital equipment deals in hospitals
  • Experience with Danish regional hospital procurement and public tenders
  • Strong technical aptitude, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Self motivated and well organised, comfortable working autonomously
  • Full driving licence

Backgrounds that would suit this role

Surgical microscopes and exoscopes, ENT devices and endoscopy, neurosurgery or spine technologies, surgical navigation and imaging, ophthalmic visualisation, medical capital equipment, clinical application specialist roles, or theatre nursing with a move into commercial work.

Why apply?

This is a rare chance to own an advanced visualisation technology across a whole country, with genuine technical and commercial influence, the backing of a globally respected business, and your own ENT territory in Eastern Denmark alongside it.
